The Tokyo Brand Box is a flexible, immersive space within the Clarks Originals Shibuya flagship, designed to bring the brand’s stories to life through sensory, community-focused experiences. Concealed behind a retractable mirrored wall and wrapped in a tactile, curved plaster surface inspired by Clarks’ signature suede, the space transforms through modular digital screens, bespoke furniture, and a versatile kit-of-parts. Developed to host product launches, collaborations, and cultural events, the Brand Box activates Clarks’ global vision with local relevance—beginning with three launch experiences that celebrate English heritage, creative partnerships, and campaign storytelling in bold, dynamic form.

We designed a versatile kit of parts – featuring modular LED panel walls, controllable RGB lighting, and bespoke furniture inspired by Japanese craftsmanship – allowing the Brand Box to be regularly adapted to host exclusive product launches, localised collaboration events, and immersive brand activations; including craft exhibitions and multi-sensory Somerset-inspired takeovers.
